I note with interest that in 2015, due to the closure of Clynelish for refurbishment, Dailuaine changed it's fermentation regime to a more waxy style in order to cover the closure of Clynelish.  But what is really pleasing about this offering from DL, is that the distillate comes from 2011, meaning a more clean and bright spirit style.  Bottled 2019, matured in American oak hogshead with 335 bottles released.

My notes, "Sweetly malty nose, fresh spirit with a hint of drying oakiness. Long sweetly malty palate, with drying, grippy oak oak. Lingering wood spice at the finish.  Alluring."
