Only 650 bottles were released of this massively flavoured single malt from White Oak distillers. Distilled in 1997, this malt has undergone three types of oak maturation: Twelve years in an ex Spanish brandy casks, one and a half years in an ex sherry cask and then a further six months in a French white wine cask.
From Whiskies R Us, "Extremely warming. Follows suit with the nose: black fermented soy beans, burnt rubber, and fireplace ash. The mulch like quality is evident, but also lovely black breakfast tea, and again fortified wine. Water turns up the level of tyre smoke and Shea butter."
