Released in 2000, this Port Cask influenced Bowmore certainly caught everyone's attention at the time, as the alcohol was bright and there was unique flavour of violets.
As one pundit put it in 2017, "At the beginning very intense taste of licorice lozenges with violet flavor. Fine-herb, bitter wood. Sweet honey, a pine needle infusion. Marzipan chocolate."
