Blog Post Three: Now I'm getting the hang of this…
Aaaah! Loch Lomond, that enigmatic distillery that can produce almost every type and style of malt and grain spirit known to man. But, hardly anybody has heard of it.
So how intriguing, a spirit made from two different types of pot stills and then finished in in a American oak wine cask that was used for the fragrantly sweet Muscat wine. And as you'll gather from the tasting notes, it looks like some of the gain used for the spirit has peat smoked. "Citrus and spices with malt sugars and more gentle smoke influences. Long with sweet aromas, more spices and vanilla and a whiff of smoke."
Tasty! 324 bottles only released.
