Ord or Glen_Ord? That is the question.
A massive distillery, 11 million litres of spirit a year, that only produces one official single malt: The Singleton Of Glen Ord. So here we have a private bottling that has intriguingly been matured in a bourbon hogshead and a sherry butt.
The official tasting notes read, "Rye toast, blackcurrants and butterscotch. And finishes with treacle toffee, rock salt and dried fruits."
My name is Graham Wright. You may remember me from the old Baily & Baily days in Adelaide.
