Blog Post Three: Now I'm getting the hang of this…

From the owner of The Whisky Exchange comes this 8yo Islay malt that is juts loaded up with one of my favourite Islay malts, Caol Ila. Bright, sea breezy and chocked up with loads of briny peat flavours.
From TheDramble,"Port Askaig 8 year old is a solid choice for a peated daily drinker. Whilst there’s not a ton of depth, there’s plenty of coastal character. I’m quite a fan of younger Islay whiskies – there’s something to be said about their unbridled honesty when the spirit is leading the cask, and not vice-versa. Here, whilst the ABV is not as high as with some expressions (particularly younger 53’s from SMWS – which are always very solid and sometimes cracking), it’s generous enough to provide an impactful and bold arrival with a mouthcoating texture. There’s not much to criticise here. But, it’s a crowded marketplace out there with plenty of choices."
My name is Graham Wright. You may remember me from the old Baily & Baily days in Adelaide.
