*** Bonus Big Glenmo Glass With Every Purchase This Week ***
An interesting experiment from Glenmorangie, released in 2018, essentially taking the well-loved 10yo style and oak formula. But for this special release, the distillers used wild yeasts for fermentation. And why? Once again they have learnt from brewers and winemakers, that yeasts can indeed impart their own special flavours. And one more thing, did you notice the alcohol level? 51.2%, not often seen in a Glenmorangie product.
From the Edinburgh Whisky Blog, "Zesty to begin – with lemon peel, orange oils, unripe pineapple, banana, and blood orange. Then vanilla custard, barley water, sugared breakfast cereals and quite a bit of coconut".
My name is Graham Wright. You may remember me from the old Baily & Baily days in Adelaide.
