This new Adelaide distillery just keeps coming with a goods. Tasty, well balanced drams that taste of malt and are not over-oaked.

This malt is just so well polished, has loads of style, displays superb balance with very deft oak handling, especially as it is French oak.. And yet the clean, fragrant spirit and the crunchy malt just shines through.

The nose is gentle combo of sweet resinous oak, that fragrant spirit and the gentle hint of red fruits, pear and whiff of ginger. On the palate, the red fruits, a touch of toffee, mild ginger, biscuity malt and sweet oak just flow over the palate, which is long and so very well balanced with the spirit keeping it lively.
And you’re left with a soft, warm and glowing taste of sweet malt, gentle oak with a hint of toffee.

So, be warned this spirit should come with the warning: This malt is dangerous.
