Description
Sweet, buttery, malty and in this guise, gentle Aberlour. The malt that will never offend your old Granny.
The double cask refers to the use of of American and Sherry oak in the maturation process.
From Connossr, “Very rich mouthfeel, sherry, buttery toffee, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, nutmeg, brown sugar, cherry notes, very moreish Finish: Medium length, sweet vanilla, toffee, a little spicy nutmeg with hints of chocolate cherries”.
