Ardbeg Grooves 2018 Committee Release

A special Ardbeg Day release in 2017.  For this release, Ardbeg used some very heavily charred red wine casks for maturation.

From LordBellamy writing on WhiskyBase, “Delicious, beautiful depth, here again the ashes, but as in the nose it is not nearly as intense as one would expect from Ardbeg. A little red wine with nutmeg and grapes, sweetness of caramel and a hint of salt, the alcohol is just right, as well as the oak flavor.”
