Charcoal, dark smoke, oak wood…
Blackadder Raw Cask Ardmore 2010 11yo Peated
Ardmore over the last few years has become the real leading light of the well-peated Speyside style. And once gain, Mr Tucek at Blackadder is not holding his punches either. As this big flavoured dram comes in at a whopping 60.4%.
And that’s exactly what I expect from Blackadder Raw Cask.
And the bits in bottom of the bottle.
From a Dutch retailer, “Turf, but from the mainland of Scotland. Earthy tones with silaged grass give way to pine needles, honeysuckle, peppermint and friendly peat smoke. Flavors of charcoal, dark smoke, oak wood combine nicely with lots of (dark) red fruit”.
