Who could it be now? Speyside. 18 years of age. But it’s been matured, 100% in ex Bourbon barrels.
Such a conundrum.
From WhiskySaga, “Medium to rich body. Love the complex fruitiness here – assorted apples and pears again. Light top notes of lemon and orange zest. Some oakiness. Medium to long finish. Cool notes of orange. White pepper and wet oak staves. Almond milk and unsalted peanuts. Milk chocolate and marzipan in the end”.
Official notes read, “The first thing the Tasting Panel noticed about this whisky was the fresh, fruity nose that immediately grabbed our attention – and it will do the same for you too. The palate develops an earthy note and also features sweeter hints, like almond and blueberry. Light fruity notes are on the finish of this good, bourbon cask style whisky”.
