New for 2021 and in the new Cadenhead Original Collection livery. And at 46%.
An unusual mix of oaks, PX sherry, Bourbon and rum casks leaves this malt very dark. And no caramel colouring has been used.
From Cask1988, “On the palate it seemed to be a little disappointing at first, giving a light body, but right after thinking this it explodes inside the mouth. It gives quite some rum influences here and makes a fine combination with all the red fruits and spicy bourbon side”.
