Traditionally, an Islay distillery that was renowned for it non-peated spirit. So there goes another myth.
Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this Islay dram has a complexity beyond its years. As you would expect, the smokiness is present throughout – as are the coastal notes. The finish has a smooth and enjoyable oiliness that we know you will enjoy.
Official notes read, “Nose: Brine, medicinal notes, lobster creels. Palate: Soft smoke, cured ham, poached pears. Finish: Flax oil, salted peanuts, smoke continues but doesn’t overpower”.
