One hundred percent ex Bourbon oak matured, big peat Caol Ila. A classic Caol Ila in every sense.
Official notes read, “Stewed apples, vanilla yoghurt, kiwi fruit. Burning coals, honey ham, salted caramel”.
From Connosr, “Jelly beans after some breathing. Fresh apples and vanilla, lots of oyster sap and white pepper. Lime and kiwi appear, but are overcome by brackish water. Deliate peat. The finish is long, peppery, peaty, and softly drying”.
