Cadenhead Small Batch Fettercairn 2008 9yo

Never really was a great fan of this distillery in the past until Cadenheads got hold of some super casks a few years ago. Thankfully today, even the official bottlings are on song.

Cadenhead notes read, “Nose: Honeyed barley, peppermint sweets. Flavour: Mint toffee sweets, barley sugar, apple strudel. Finish: Breakfast cereal, custard powder, sage.”

And I’ve just received this comment (Oct 2018) from a very old and very fussy client, “The Cadenhead Fettercairn is absolutely spectacular. It has a buttery taste, very sweet, and very fiery. Again, it’s like an excellent distillery bottling you sold me years ago, but this time totally amazing.”
