Description

Quite an early distillery, as it was founded in 1810 and now part of the Chivas group. Most of the spirit goes to Ballantines.

So another “hidden distillery” with very few official bottlings.

Cadenhead’s notes read, “Lemon peel, gingerbread, golden syrup and a little aniseed.”

All American oak matured, 570 bottles released.
