A great value dram from out friends at Wm Cadenhead. This relatively modern distillery, founded 1965, is basically unknown to most of us but, get this, accounts for 5% of Scotland’s whisky exports!
Such a mystery malt.
Official notes read, “Nose: Peppermint creams, creamy toffee, tiramisu. Flavour: Hard boiled toffee sweets, star anise. Finish: Gingerbread, wood shavings, cinnamon buns.”
