Castarede 1965 Bas Armagnac

Classic Armagnac.  Richly flavoured, plenty of intrigue and pleasingly, a little rustic around the edges.  And unlike their bigger and more polished cousins in Cognac, they can date their spirits.

A translation from a French retailer, “This Armagnac delivers a powerful nose. Its mouth is marked by aromas of prunes and undergrowth”.

Official notes read, “Crystalised fruits, almonds and pecan nuts all combine to provide a style that Castarede has characterised in most of its vintages”.
