Another good, sweetly malty, entry level dram with a sweet, fruity note coming from being finished in sherry casks. Good balance and mouthfilling.
From the WhiskyWash, “Chocolate, and lots of it, mingles with sherry and spiced oak. Very sweet and rich, with a full and thick mouthfeel. The finish is characterized by soft, sweet, lingering toffee notes that stick around long after the dram is downed.”
Official notes read, “An outstanding single malt matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and finessed in rare and aged oloroso sherry casks”.
