This distillery was one of the late starters in the post war era, as it was built by Chvias Bros in 1975, with the sole intention for all of the production to go into the company’s blends. The first official release was in 2018!
So, once again it was up to the Indies, such as Douglas Laing to bring this malt to the attention of whisky enthusiasts.
The label notes, “Balanced spicy sweetness and muscovado sugar, long with candied oranges.”
Sounds a sweet to me.
