New for 2023 and for this release, the normally the oily and richly malty  but pleasing Teaninichis given a layer of complexity courtesy of a dried fruity tasting Tawny Port staves mixed in with the Firkins regular American oak staves.

That is the Firkin method.

My notes read, “Smells woody, fruity, crisp maltiness with a touch of resin.  On the palate: Full, sweet rich palate, sweet malt, sweet berry fruits, grippy tannins. Great balance with length, width and depth of flavour. Lingering tawny port dried fruitiness with a hint of drying tannins. Ace!”
