It’s got character aplenty…
Some say, that the 21yo from Glenfarclas is their best. Combining the maturity of age with a liveliness of oak and malt, that adds zest and life. Definitely no dead sherry oak here.
I happen to agree!
From MaltReview, “It’s got character aplenty, with complexity imparted by the earthy notes. I love that there’s a malt character infusing this throughout both the nose and the palate, as a nod back to the raw material asserting itself against the weight of the casks. So much better than the Macallan 18 year old, and nearly half the price”.
