Description

The new red warehouse packaging is a massive improvement on the older canister versions of this venerable old malt, which was first released in 2010.

But what surprises me with this edition, is that the back label on the edition features an award given to this malt by nose other than The Malt Whisky Society of Australia.

From Perifly in 2022, “Sweet taste, followed by a peppering of caramel and chocolate explosions. Sherry power creeping its way to the back of your mouth releasing dark chocolate, raisins and sultanas.  It ends with a sweet, crisp, dry & lingering finish”.
