Description

A young Glengoyne at cask strength.  What a treat.  Matured in a mix of Ex Bourbon and sherry casks, results in a lively and robust dram that was first released in 2020.

From DramStreet, “A perfect balance of baked lemon, malt biscuits, and sticky toffee pudding. Notes of vanilla and a long finish. This is Glengoyne, straight from the cask, undiluted, and always un-chill filtered”.

Official notes read, “Batch No. 009 comprises of one third first-fill Oloroso sherry, two thirds refill casks and a and a smattering of bourbon barrels.  expect a weighty mouthful of rich vanilla and fresh fruits that develop into poached pears with cinnamon spice and a drizzle of honey. The finish is long and rewarding, with Medjool dates, apricot, toffee, and honey”.
