Beautiful for a Glenrothes…
Glenrothes 1989 12yo Bottled 2002 Bottle Only
For me this is old school Glenrothes and from an era when all used to get highly excited about this distillery’s offerings. It was also the era when Highland Distillers owned the company but Berry Bros distributed them. Confused? I certainly wa then.
Possible a sherry cask?
From RealyGoodWhisky, “Nose: Floral, slightly rubbery but not in an unpleasant way, mint and apple Palate: More presence from the apple and the mint, toffee and treacle are definitely there too Finish: Long finish, cloves and cinnamon are prominent, pine, nutmeg. Beautiful for a Glenrothes in our opinion”.
