Glenturret Peated Edition

Description

Soft gentle Glenturret and this dram dates back to the time that the Edrington Group (Macallan, Highland Park etc) owned this very old distillery.  And in that era, most of the production from Glenturret went into the Famous Grouse.  Today, it is owned by the super luxury goods maker, Lalique.

This style of packaging was around from 2015 to 2020 and the style of this malt is of course, peated.  But Highland peated, so different type of smoke compared to Islay.   All the hallmarks of Glenturret: citrus fruitiness, big malt flavours and honey are there, but underneath is a fine layer of burning embers peat.
