An old release from the maestro of massive whiskies wrapped in a veneer of Tasmanian gentleness. As always, this one is another belter.
The first barrel used was a 16yo Tas Distillers (Sullivans Cove) cask that was used for sweetness, then 3 x Lark 2008 7yo 100lt port casks was used for filling out the body and the, he topped all this up with (because he can) with a Lark 5yo peated oloroso sherry cask for another added degree of complexity.
