Holyrood Elizabeth Yard Savanna 2013 8yo Red Wine Cask REF Reunion Agricole Rum

Description

Holyrood is a relatively new distillery based in the heart of Edinburgh, their Elizabeth Yard range is their independent bottling arm.

Savanna distillery is located on the island of Reunion.  And given it’s French heritage, we are now talking about rhum agricoles: where the wash is fermented from fresh cane juice.

The use of the word REF refers to an unfinished cask.  Basically Holyrood thought it was so good, that they didn’t re-reck the cask.
