Now, here is an old curiosity.  A private bottling of what was probably the last remaining stocks of the original Bladnoch.  And surprise, surprise, it was imported by none other than Mr David Le Cornu, Earls of Zetland and Lairds Club fame.

Bladnoch is one of those malts that really does change your opinion of what Lowland whiskies are all about.  They were fruity and zesty and triple distilled.  The distillery was closed between 1993 and 200 when the then new owner, Mr Raymond Armstrong, re-started production again.
