Description
An old bottling of one Jim Beam’s flagship small batch bourbons. Named after distillery’s famous distiller and manager, Mr Booker Noe and was first released in 1992. And pleasingly, it’s at cask strength and is unfiltered.
The standard mash bill for Bookers is: 77% corn, 13% rye and 10% malted barley.
This edition was distilled at the Booker Noe plant in Boston, Kentucky in May 1994 and was bottled around 2002. And has been declared to be 7 years and 1 month of age.
Gentleman Ranters notes read, “Oddly enough, the tasting experience of such a high proof whiskey does not result in any invasive hints of alcohol burn. Brown sugar, raisin, and vanilla are the palate’s most prominent sensations upon initial tasting. Finish Booker’s Bourbon has a very long but mild finish that further enables the bourbon’s true quality to shine through”.
NB: No outer box.
