Description

An old established blender that dates back to 1815 but probably best known for supplying the 1907 Shackleton Antarctic expedition. This 1980’s blend comes from today’s owners, Whyte & Mackay, who so happen to own some pretty handy single malt distilleries:  Dalmore, Jura, Fettercairn and Tamnavulin.

The decanter depicts a painting of the ‘Illicit Still’ by Edwin Landseer, most famous for the lion sculptures at the base of Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square.  How about that.
