Michters US*1 Small Batch Bourbon

With a heritage dating back to the late 1700’s, it has only been in the last few years or so that this famous name name in Bourbon has been resurrected. Hard times in the 1980’s saw the distillery being closed. But a new distillery was opened in 2017.

And today, it’s one of the hottest US whiskies in the market, especially the single barrels. But this bourbon is the entry level, hence it’s affordable and available.

The mash bill is made up of, 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% wheat.  Look!  No malted barley.
