Description
From Midleton Distillery, comes this charming, entry level Irish whiskey, that employs that distinctive but classic Irish distilling technique of using both malted and unmalted barley in the mash.
Believed to be a combination of 7 and 8 year old spirit matured in a combination of American and sherry oak.
From BBC Good Food, “On the palate, there’s a pleasing viscosity. It stays creamy with vanilla, the apples joined by apricot and pear, spice tending towards cinnamon, a little mint from the herbal edge hedging slightly bitter and a lush malt sweetness”.
