Morrison Carn Mor Auchentoshan 2011 9yo Rum Finish

Description

What a crazy combination.  Traditionally light bodied, triple distilled Auchentoshan finished in a rum cask!

But it works as my tasting notes attest to, “Big rum lift, with pineapple and other tropical fruits leaving a light fruity nose.  On the palate, it starts rich and malty, sweet fruitiness with light rum notes, but the spirit keeps it crisp at end.  Lingering”.

Is this really Auchentoshan?  You betcha and it’s a ripper.
