Getting hold of any Puleteny, official or indie, is a trial these days, so to be offered this gem is a real treat.  All bourbon cask matured.

My original notes read, “Serious, long, complex, salt, seaside, hard spirit, honey? Smoke. Embery. Narrow and long”.

That indicated to me the hallmarks of a classy malt.
