Fruitiness, burnt orange, medium to full bodied, lingering crisp spirit…
Morrison Glen Garioch 2011 9yo Sherry Butt
Why don’t we see more Glen Garioch (Glen-Geery) in Oz? A personal longtime favourite in both indie and official bottlings. Generally, it’s a full bodied malt with plenty of fruitiness and lively spirit. But we hardly ever see it.
My rough notes read, “Fruitiness, burnt orange, hint of a struck match, medium to full bodied, lingering crisp spirit, sherried fruits with light cinnamon notes. Tasty”.
Official notes state,”Bread and butter pudding, with a sprinkling of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg”.
