Morrison Carn Mor Glenrothes 2011 9yo Oloroso Sherry Finish

Description

This would have to be one of the best Glenrothes I’ve seen in ages.  It’s young, it’s sherried and the oak handling is quite expert.  And it just tastes so good. Bravo to the folk at Morrison’s.

Here’s my raw assessment notes, “Fruity, pretty, well mannered, bright, lively, good fruit sweetness without being cloying, lingering, excellent”.

While the official notes really do sum it up perfectly, “Christmas cake with red fruits and dry spices”.
