What a joy to try it…Big Islay, sea-weedy and meaty smoke. And that smell of dried meats just hangs around.
Getting it onto the palate reveals: Sweet malt, autumnal fruitiness, loads of dry ash, that just lingers and lingers. Great balance with buttery oak. Fab length, with a dry ashy finish.
