Now for something very special. From the hands of Mr Casey Overeem comes this exceptional 12yo Australian whisky. And I don’t use the word exceptional lightly as there are precious few Aussie malts that can claim an age statement and pedigree such as this special offering.

In 2009 Founder, Casey Overeem filled his first ever 200 litre ex-Bourbon casks from Heaven Hill Distillery, Kentucky.Over the course of the next 12 months, Casey filled another 5. A total of 6 casks that he planned on maturing for at least 10 years.

The official notes read, “Perfectly balanced, with tropical fruits, soft oak and rich oily malt, Casey Overeem and the Overeem tasting panel unanimously chose this cask to be bottled at cask strength due to the astounding quality and elegance of spirit – a testament to its craftmanship. With only 156 bottles available, this may well be one of the most celebrated whiskies ever to be released from Overeem.
