Here’s my old notes when had this bottled for TOWC back in  mid 2000’s.

This could be for the last time. A 7 year old full French oak single malt from the now fabled Southern Coast Distillers. And this one is a belter. From its deep brooding colour to its massive palate and intensive flavour. This dram just sings. And as with all of Ian & Vic’s drams complexity and balance match perfectly with its rich maltiness and its peppery oak.

And here are more of my rough notes “Big barley sugar, stewed fruits black pepper big round full palate layers of golden syrup/dark honey. dry oak finish dried spice and cumquats. Just love ya work lads!”
