This second release from the now defunct Southern Coast Distillery came out in 2011. And as with the first release, it was at the time a revelation.

Here’s what I wrote way back then, “This brand new Aussie whisky from Adelaide certainly made an impact when it was judged at the 2010 MWSoA whisky competition. Under the direction of the affable and knowledgeable Mr Ian Schmidt, this young whisky certainly belies it’s age. It is just so rich and sumptuous and loaded up with that very pleasing and comforting taste of old fashioned barley sugar lollies.”
