With the advent of extreme enthusiasm for all things to do with Japanese whisky, even this Suntory produced, entry level blend, is now keenly sought after.

From BBC Good Food, “The red fruit and apple mingles alongside that marshmallow-note sweetness, with a lemon zest edge, before chestnut gives way to a touch of woodiness and tannin. It finishes quite lightly, with a little bitterness edging in amongst sweet and floral notes.

Official notes read, “Honey like sweetness, candied orange peel, white chocolate.  Subtle, tender long finish, with hint of Mizunara (Japanese oak)”.
