Tamnavulin 12yo Double Cask Sherry Cask Finish

Description

A relatively modern distillery, founded in 1966, but sadly was closed down in 1995 but was eventually fully re-opened only in 2007.  So, this spirit in this new bottling comes from that era where the distillery was still finding its feet.

Matured mainly in American casks and then  finished in sherry oak.  So, creaminess with a touch of fruitiness plus  a touch of kitchen spice and nuttiness.
