Aaah, to see a Dailuaine on offer, I just had to have it. One of my favourite distillers, especially at cask strength.
My notes read, “Toffee and cream, great length, bright alc, grainy fresh oak, a tad astringent, the malt is crisp, honeyed with a touch of cinnamon, finishes with an intriguing salty tang”.
Official notes read, “Gently floral on the nose with a touch of smooth oaky sweetness. Honey on the palate with a hint of spice and a long satisfying finish”.
