Cu Bocan Creations is Tomatin’s way of playing with various interesting and exotic oak casks. And being Cu Bocan, it’s mildly peated.

And for this new release in 2022, a wonderful marriage of tawny port and Cognac  flavoured French oak casks.

From 2ndSip, “Syrupy feeling, nice. Spicy, light peppery note that is not too dominant, fruits are immediately recognizable.
The walnut is now clearer and brings with it a coffee-tart note, but without drifting too much into bitterness. The finish leaves a walnut aroma, oak tannins, slightly tart notes”.

Official notes read, “Our fourth Creation is a nod to The Antrim Cocktail, marrying two of Europe’s most revered drinks, Port and Cognac. The end result is a medley of plum jam, grilled peach, stewed forest fruit, cinnamon and sweet campfire smoke”.
