Vintage Malt Whisky Coopers Choice Ardmore 2013 7yo Amarone Finish

You’ve just got to love Ardmore, a full flavoured dram that for me, just has the right amount of peat.  Complex, intriguing and very engaging.

Magic, long , lingering, dried yet succulent fruitiness and tingling smoke.

Amarone? A wine making technique from used famously in the Veneto wines of Northern Italy.  It where some of the grapes are died and then fermented, adding a layer of sweetness and richness to the palate.
